Munich, May 11, 2022 – Gütt Olk Feldhaus advised the founder and sole shareholder of asphaltgold GmbH & Co. KG on the sale of the company to Arklyz Group.
Since its incorporation in 2008, Asphaltgold, headquartered in Darmstadt, has become one of the leading online stores for pinnacle sneakers and contemporary streetwear apparel in the top-tier segment. Asphaltgold also operates a flagship store in Darmstadt and today counts more than 200 employees.
Arklyz Group, headquartered in Stans, Switzerland, is active in the sports, lifestyle and athleisure sectors. Arklyz Group's portfolio includes the international streetwear retailer The Athlete's Foot as well as the sports socks manufacturer Intersocks.
The founder of Asphaltgold will continue to serve the company as managing director.
