Munich, 23 December 2024 - Gütt Olk Feldhaus has advised ARCUS Capital AG on the acquisition of a majority stake in Aplantis GmbH and its financing. Aplantis GmbH is a leading B2B full-service provider for the global sourcing of high-quality botanicals. Dr Robert Gick, former sole shareholder and CEO, will remain involved as Managing Director.
Since its foundation in 2018, Weilheim-based Aplantis has established itself as a leading supplier of high-quality plant-based and biotechnologically produced raw materials. The company offers a diverse portfolio of plant powders, extracts, medicinal mushrooms, marine products and enzymes for the food supplement, food, animal feed and cosmetics industries.
ARCUS focusses on majority shareholdings in the DACH region. ARCUS invests both its own capital and capital from selected co-investors. The company portfolio currently consists of industrial, media and online companies with a total turnover of around EUR 300 million.
