Munich, February 19, 2025 - The commercial law firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus has advised the shareholder of EC Europ Coating GmbH and MC Europ Coating GmbH on the sale of both companies to the Singaporean technology group Nanofilm Technologies International.
EC Europ Coating and MC Europ Coating offer PVD thin film coatings for decorative and functional applications such as watches and jewellery, medical instruments and eyewear. They mainly serve the luxury and high-end décor industry as well as other consumer and medical markets in Europe.
Nanofilm Technologies International is a leading provider of nanotechnology solutions based in Singapore and utilises its proprietary technologies and core competencies in research and development, engineering and manufacturing to provide technology-based solutions to a wide range of industries.
The acquisition is part of a broader growth initiative by Nanofilm Technologies International and aims to accelerate business expansion in Europe and facilitate entry into the decorative market.
