Munich, June 03, 2026 – The international law firm GOF Gütt Olk Feldhaus is focusing on the next generation: Dr David Negenborn, LL.M. (Columbia) (38), will join GOF from Hengeler Mueller as a partner for the Corporate, M&A and Private practice areas on 1 June 2026Equity. Dr. Lucas Lengersdorf (33) has been strengthening the Finance practice as counsel of Freshfields since April 1, 2026. Together with Maximilian Spindler, LL.M. (Columbia), who was appointed partner last year, and Matthias Uelner, GOF is consistently driving the growth of integrated transaction advice.
Dr. David Negenborn advises companies, financial investors and family businesses on national and international M&A and private equity transactions as well as corporate law issues. He has been admitted to the bar in Germany since 2020 and as an attorney-at-law in New York. After completing his doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, he completed an LL.M. degree at Columbia Law School in New York/USA. Dr David Negenborn joins from Hengeler Mueller, where he has been working in its Munich and Düsseldorf offices since 2021. There he advised on numerous complex national and cross-border transactions. Most recently, he advised Waterland on a strategic partnership with EDL in connection with its investment in Condio, Trill Impact and Mesalvo and STEAG/Iqony on the acquisition of Uniper's district heating network.
Dr. Lucas Lengersdorf advises private equity sponsors, corporates and lenders with a focus on national and international financing structures as well as acquisition and corporate finance transactions. After completing his doctorate at the University of Hamburg, he worked at Freshfields in Frankfurt and New York. There he advised clients on complex financing solutions, in particular syndicated loans, acquisition financing, unitranche and term loan B financings, HoldCo/PIK structures and bank/bond transactions.
