Munich, February 26, 2018 – The law firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus has advised BlackFin on the sale of the finanzen.de Group to Eli Global. The sale occurred as part of an auction process organized by GCA Altium. The parties agreed to not disclose the purchase price.
Berlin based finanzen.de AG was founded in 2004 and is the leading European online marketplace for customer leads in the finance and insurance sector. The company also operates in France, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
BlackFin is an independent private equity fund based in Paris with a specific focus on the financial services sector. Based in North Carolina, USA, Eli Global is a conglomeration of independent portfolios comprising more than 100 businesses operating in multiple sectors, including technology, insurance and financial services and health care.
In 2013, Gütt Olk Feldhaus had already advised the founders of finanzen.de AG on the sale of a majority participation to BlackFin.
