Munich, April 21, 2024 – The business law firm Gütt Olk Feldhaus has advised the shareholders of the German ARTDECO cosmetic GmbH on the sale of a majority participation to Italian Sodalis Group.
Helmut Baurecht, who founded ARTDECO, and his son Matthias Baurecht will remain shareholders and unchanged in the management of ARTDECO.
The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
Founded in Munich in 1985, ARTDECO is a family-run business with more than 800 employees. It has become a German market leader with a strong international presence, offering three complementary brands: Artdeco, Make-up Factory and ANNY.
For the Sodalis Group this acquisition is a milestone in their path of international development, reinforcing their position as one of the most important independently-owned European Beauty players.
