Munich, January 27, 2021 – Gütt Olk Feldhaus advised Harald Quandt Industriebeteiligungen GmbH (HQIB) on the establishment of growth platform for managed IT services with HORN & COSIFAN Computersysteme GmbH and PK Office GmbH. HQIB has invested in the platform as majority shareholder. Cadence Growth Capital GmbH supports as a further shareholder. The founders and owners of HORN & COSIFAN and PK Office also participate in the newly formed group.
The group will create a growth platform for all areas of managed IT services for the digital workspace in the SME segment. HORN & COSIFAN and PK Office will remain independent but will cooperate closely in the future. Together with Cadence Growth Capital, HQIB will support the implementation of a dedicated buy-and-build strategy.
HORN & COSIFAN was founded in 1993 and has developed into one of the leading IT systems houses in the Rhine-Main area. The company focuses on virtualization, high availability, managed and cloud services, and especially IT security.
PK Office GmbH, founded in 2007, is an integrated overall IT provider servicing around 5,200 customers.
Harald Quandt Industriebeteiligungen GmbH is an investment company of the Harald Quandt family and other selected (industrial) families and partners. HQIB invests in small and medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries that are active in established, future-oriented and technically challenging sectors with attractive growth potential.
GOF advised HQIB on the transaction, including the acquisition financing. GOF also provided legal advice to HQIB on previous transactions.
